The incidents occurred on Friday, June 21 in Elmont.
According to Nassau County Police, multiple disturbances were reported at UBS Arena, located at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike, during the venue’s MegaBash MX event, which saw multiple popular bands and singers gather under one roof.
One person being escorted from the venue — 24-year-old Eduardo Flores Hernandez of the Bronx — allegedly became non-compliant, leading to his arrest.
Police also said that at that time, 25-year-old Dana Morales (also from the Bronx) started to push and punch officers, while Lisset Flores Hernandez, age 26 of the Bronx, allegedly bit and punched officers, interfering with Hernandez’s arrest.
In what appears to be a separate incident, Fernando Velasco and Andy Velasquez, ages 50 and 26, respectively, were being escorted from the premises when they both punched the security guard in the face.
They were both placed under arrest.
Eduardo Flores Hernandez, Lisset Flores Hernandez, and Morales were all charged with obstructing governmental administration and criminal trespassing. Eduardo is due at Hempstead’s First District Court on Friday, July 5.
Lisset and Morales were each given an additional charge of resisting arrest; Lisset was also charged with assault, while Morales was charged with attempted assault and harassment. Both women were arraigned on Saturday, June 22.
For their part, Velasco and Velasquez were charged with assault and are due in court on Friday, July 5.
